From the beginning, we focused on placing persons with developmental disabilities into competitive employment: something that wasn’t a widespread practice in the eighties. We focused on producing goods for industry and reinvested in our people and services. This method evolved as our way of doing business and simultaneously funding our mission. Today we are, by definition, a ‘social enterprise.’

    Lisa Fisher Promoted to Lead Employment Services Division

    Leading the Employment Services Division is a big job. Last year, a 37-year veteran, Jim Halpin, retired. Jim left behind some big shoes to fill. Finding the right fit to lead the company into the future weighed on everyone's minds. The solution then became as obvious as opening the window on a beautiful spring day. Lisa Fisher, a department manager of 27-years, with a passion for people and possibilities, was offered and accepted the job.
