Chinook Partners with Local Radio Stations KBRC/KAPS at Community Events

Veteran’s Stand Down: This essential event was dedicated to supporting our honored veterans with a wide range of vital services. From a job fair to dental and vision care, to assistance with benefits and access to food and clothing, we ensured our veterans received the support they deserve. A catered lunch was provided, and representatives from various veteran service organizations were on hand to offer assistance. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for veterans to access necessary resources and support.

Food Drive to Benefit Friendship House: Hosted by Grocery Outlet, this food drive successfully collected donations to benefit Friendship House, helping to support those in need in our community.

Pet Food/Supplies Drive: Hosted by the Country Store/Skagit Farmers Supply, we teamed up with KBRC 102.9FM/1430AM Classic Rock Radio, KAPS Country Radio, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, and Craft Stove to provide a fun and successful event that benefitted the Humane Society of Skagit Valley. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, a significant amount of pet food and supplies were donated, and several dogs found new homes!
