About Marc

Marc spent 19 years with the City of Mount Vernon as their Mailroom Clerk assisting with essential internal mail tasks. This included collecting, sorting, and distributing mail across the departments at City Hall. For his next endeavor, Marc honed his customer service skills as a Host for a local restaurant. Marc has been described by others as polite and friendly to all in his service roles. 

In addition to paid employment, Marc also enjoys volunteering his time. Prior to 2020, Marc was an active volunteer with the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. There he combined his customer service and office skills as he priced donations, assisted with customer loadouts of large items, and upkept general store cleaning. Currently, Marc is a regular volunteer with an after-school program where he preps and distributes snacks to students. 

Outside of work and volunteering, Marc loves spending time out in the community, whether it be on walks around town, frequenting thrift stores, keeping up local networking relationships he has developed, or participating in a wide variety of Special Olympics sports teams throughout the year. 

Marc is a hard worker who prides himself on his time management skills and overall work ethic as he gives each new task his all. Even with his long work history, Marc is still eager to get any feedback he can so he can grow professionally and personally. Any employer would be lucky to bring Marc on as an addition to their team.
