AWB Manufacturing Week Bus Tour Makes a Stop in Mount Vernon
The Association of Washington Business (AWB) is launching their sixth annual Manufacturing Week bus tour, which will cross the state Oct. 6-13. The goal is to visit selected companies along the way, highlight their achievements, and expand opportunities.
On October 6th Chinook Enterprises in Mount Vernon will be honored as one of the businesses that the bus will call upon!
What is Manufacturing Week?
Manufacturing Week celebrates the opportunity to tell the story of Washington’s robust, wide-ranging manufacturing sector and to push forward with the Legislature’s unanimous goal of doubling the diversity and employment base of our state’s manufacturing sector over the next decade.
State representatives Alex Ramel & Alicia Rule will be on-site, along with a team of staff from AWB, to learn about Chinook’s role in aerospace manufacturing since 1987 and our mission to support full participation in community life for people with disabilities and other barriers.
