Sara is a hard worker with a great memory and enjoys staying active and learning new tasks. Sara is looking to work approximately 9-15 hours a week in the Sedro Woolley, Burlington or Mount Vernon area. She is looking for entry-level work earning minimum wage or more. Sara has experience working in childcare at the Skagit YMCA, where she supported teachers by setting up class activities and helping children as they created crafts or projects. Sara loves being helpful and around kids. Due to COVID Sara was laid off from her job.
Sara is creative and very strategic. Her interests include walking, drawing/ coloring, making scarfs/ hats out of yarn, and she loves spending time working on puzzles, word searches and sudoku puzzles. All these wonderful abilities and interests energize her to find work in her community that aligns with these strengths.
As our community enters Phases 3-4, after COVID restrictions are lifted within the next six months, Sara is ready for a new work adventure and positions in either a bakery or in a kitchen environment, or even going back into childcare. Sara would also like to try out positions with animals e.g. dog washing or related to pet care because she has a love for animals.
She is so wonderful and positive and excited to grow her skills so that she brings the best version of herself to her new employer.
