September 15, 1992–that was a day that Drew Beals and his mother Nancy will never forget.
It was Drew’s first day of employment at Chinook Enterprises.
Today Drew reaches a 25-year employment milestone and it is truly a cause for celebration.
Nancy introduced Drew to Chinook Enterprises when Drew was 21-years-old. She helped him pursue the perfect job for him: a position on the Grounds Crew.
Drew’s mother, Nancy, explained that Drew developed an affinity and knack for mowing grass when he was very young. She and Drew recalled mowing their lawn together. “It always put a smile on Drew’s face,” said Nancy.
Drew loves his job and is most proud of his 25-year accident-free track record work ethic even when faced with adverse weather. If you ask Drew what he loves most, he will tell you about the people he works with, as well as operating power lawn equipment. You might also hear about some of his favorite places to work including; Skagit Valley College, Port of Anacortes, and United General in Sedro Woolley.
