More Than Numbers: How Chinook’s 2025 Impact Report Shows The Impact of Meaningful Employment
Every number in our 2025 Impact Report represents a person, a partnership, or a step toward greater independence.
This year, Chinook Enterprises supported 223 customers, bringing our total to 6,686 people served since 1980. Behind those numbers are real outcomes. Customers earning an average wage of $17.42 per hour, longer employment tenures averaging 19 years, and 87 percent of customers maintaining employment for 60 days or more.
Employment remains at the heart of our work. In 2025, customers achieved 18 new job gains, completed 18 job assessments, and expanded opportunities through community partnerships across healthcare, education, retail, food service, government, and more. Sixty-seven percent of customers worked 20 or more hours each week, reinforcing the value of steady, meaningful employment.
Our operational teams also played an important role in this impact. With 98 percent ISO quality on-time delivery and 96 percent on-time production project bids, Chinook continued to provide reliable, high-quality services to our partners. Our Grounds Maintenance teams serviced more than 900 acres weekly and achieved a 70 percent RFQ win rate, supporting both customer employment and long-term organizational stability.
The report also highlights what partnership looks like in action. At Skagit Regional Health, Chinook employees contribute across Environmental Services, Food Services, and Grounds Maintenance. Joni, an Environmental Services Technician, is one example of long-term success, thriving in a role that values her skills, independence, and work ethic. Partners like Skagit Regional Health describe Chinook employees as bringing energy, dedication, and pride to their teams, strengthening both service quality and workplace culture.
Impact is not just measured in statistics. It is reflected in pride, confidence, and belonging. As one customer shared, “I am proud of my job, and I am proud to work here.” Another added, “I like it here, everyone is friendly.”
