Chinook Named Finalist for Washington Excellence Award from Association of Washington Business
Chinook is honored to be chosen as one of three finalists for the Manufacturing Excellence Award for Operational Excellence. The award goes to a manufacturer that has a distinctive manufacturing process that may include continuous improvement, lean and six sigma and/or application of high technology.
In addition to our social work helping people with disabilities obtain employment and succeed in the workforce, we also have a manufacturing arm that performs manufacturing and assembly, of which the majority are aerospace parts for Boeing. We have a blue/green rating for on-time delivery and quality and have been recognized for eight consecutive years with Performance Excellence Awards from Boeing for our quality products and on-time delivery.

Each year, the AWB holds an Evening of Excellence gala to celebrate business leaders across the state, and Chinook is honored to be recognized by the AWB for our consistent high performance.
