Hours: This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. 

Starting Wage: $18.50 – $20.50 per hour DOE

About this position:

  • Provide resume development, job assessments and job screening for our customers with barriers to employment.
  • Provide targeted and generic job development for unemployed and/or underemployed customers. Requires cold calling and making presentations to local businesses as needed.
  • Provide one on one job coaching and training for customers at job sites.
  • Provide long-term support to businesses and individuals with disabilities on work sites on a regularly scheduled basis.
  • Write/maintain documentation such as narratives, reports, evaluations, billings, etc.
  • Accurately record and track billable service hours in a timely manner.
  • Advocate for customers with employers and other service providers.

Preferred Experience:

  • BA or BS degree in Special Education, Human Services or related field is preferred. 
  • One year previous experience in job development and working with community employers can be substituted for education.  
  • GED/High School Diploma preferred.
  • Experience teaching skills or coaching to individuals with disabilities and/or underserved communities
  • Experience with report writing and case note writing
  • Experience with maintaining a caseload of clients/customers
  • Consultative sales

  • Pass a Washington State Patrol background check as well as a DSHS background check.
  • Have, or obtain, a CPR certificate within six months of employment.
