Bigger than a Breadbox

We use a lot of wood around here. Plywood, actually. More than 500 sheets a year.

Most of this plywood is cut and crafted into high quality storage and shipping containers with dimensions ranging from 3″ x 3″ to 120″ x 76″. Hardware includes staples, screws, rivets, handles and locking mechanisms. We have a hefty ventilation system to ensure our staff is working in the cleanest and safest possible work conditions.

Our biggest box to date left our Mount Vernon facility last week. It weighed nearly one ton and measured 120 x 60 x 76 inches. It was the size of a garden shed or tiny house…and built to last.

Our boxes are primarily used for the shipping of delicate and expensive tooling equipment used in aerospace manufacturing, but boxes have been created for more common uses such as wine and brochure storage and displays and our talented technician can build a computer monitor and keyboard stand for someone who needs a simple, inexpensive option for a standing desk. It’s a great alternative to sitting all day.

Our talented woodworking team is always up for a new challenge!
